We will inform you of all offers made on your property verbally and in writing. We always check a buyer's ability to proceed and their financial viability before you decide whether to accept their offer.

Step 8 - Exchange of Contracts

Exchange of contracts takes place when all enquiries, such as searches, fixtures and fittings and the buyer's mortgage offer, have been confirmed and agreed. Once the contract has been signed by both parties, the deposit (usually 10% of the purchase price) will be telegraphically transferred or paid in the form of a banker's draft by the buyer's solicitor to your solicitor. The completion date if then set by mutual agreement.

Step 9 - Completion

Completion occurs when the residual monies (usually 90% of the purchase price) are transferred from your buyer's solicitor to your solicitor's account. Your solicitor will call you when the money has cleared in your account and will also inform us that we are able to release the keys.
